GAZA, (PIC)– The joint Palestinian health operations room said that a Turkish medical delegation arrived on Friday in the Gaza Strip through the Israeli-controlled crossing of Beit Hanoun (Erez).
According to a press release issued by the operations room on Friday, the delegation, composed of six specialized surgeons, came to Gaza to provide medical assistance at Al-Shifa hospital.
The Turkish surgeons had to cross into Gaza thorough an Israeli border terminal after their failure to enter it through the Egyptian side.

In a related context, the Turkish health ministry prepared a comprehensive report on the medical conditions of the wounded Palestinians in its hospitals in Ankara and Istanbul.
The report stated that 17 of these wounded are still in hospitals in the Turkish capital Ankara.
